Pennine Cider is a new name in British Cider making, lovingly hand crafted in small batches in the West Yorkshire village of Golcar, Huddersfield in the heart of the Pennines.  

At Pennine Cider we would love you to taste the fresh fruity apple flavours of our new ciders. Our ciders are all hand made in small batches, from apple juice (never from concentrate), carefully fermented and blended for a fuller flavour, then bottle conditioned and sweetened for your enjoyment.

In 2018 we successfully launched our flagship still cider Pennine Gold, and at the request of a prospective new customer, we have created a sparkling cider Pennine Pride, which has all the flavour of Pennine Gold, with a delightful fizz. 2022 has seen the introduction of Pennine Premium, which is a stronger slightly sparkling full bodied cider.

Our ciders are available from our stockists by the bottle or case. Pennine Gold can be purchased in a choice of Dry, Medium and Sweet. Pennine Pride and Pennine Premium are available typically as a Medium and medium dry sparkling cider.

PENNINE GOLD

STILL CIDER

This as a still cider typically around 6.0% ABV, with a deep golden colour, hence the name! Made with premium apple juice (never from concentrate), blended with our own matured cider during its production, then bottle sweetened and conditioned for your enjoyment.

Pennine Gold is also available in 20 litre (40 pint) box format where “hand pulled” bar pumps are available.

PENNINE PRIDE

SPARKLING CIDER

This as a sparkling cider (which we created especially at the request of a prospective customer) typically around 5.2% ABV, with a refreshing thirst quenching fizz. Made with premium apple juice (never from concentrate), blended with our own matured cider during its production, then bottle sweetened and conditioned for your enjoyment. The bottled cider is then re fermented to naturally produce that tantalizing sparkle.

PENNINE PREMIUM

Medium Dry Slightly Sparkling Cider

This is a slightly sparkling stronger cider typically around 6.5% ABV, which goes perfectly with a meal or salty snacks, and for those who appreciate a fuller flavour. Made with premium apple juice (never from concentrate), blended with our own matured cider during its production, then bottle sweetened for your enjoyment. The bottled cider is then re fermented to produce that subtle sparkle which has become very popular with our customers in the good food business.
